Yaaro movie review

Story:

Venkat Reddy is an architect-designer, who lives all alone at his villa in ECR. While he often faces rejections at his workplace, trouble begins when a mysterious stranger enters his life.

Venkat spots him often in his house and feels that he is being followed by this man throughout the day. He also finds a video camera at his place, which has recordings of a brutal murder.

The fear brings him to a crime inspector, who has suspicions about Venkat and tries to understand who he actually is.

The presence of the murderer is felt everywhere and it becomes almost impossible for the protagonist to unravel the mystery around him.

However, some of the shocking details about Venkat’s past, revealed in the second half of the film, untie the knots and the psychological challenges he is going through.

Analysis:

Director Sandeep Sai’s intention to deliver an edge-of-the-seat thriller is evident right from the word go.

This is not any usual psychological thriller, it takes us into the life of the killer, who has had an abusive childhood.

Venkat Reddy’s performance in the flashback sequence is interesting and his efforts need to be appreciated.

Jose Franklin’s background score is simple yet intriguing. It resonates with the mood of the film and adds that mystery quotient.
