Why I-T raids at Rashmika Mandanna’s house?

A team of 10 officials of the Income Tax Department, Bengaluru  conducted searches at the residence of actress Rashmika Mandanna in Virajpet Taluka of Kodagu district late last week.

According to reports, Rashmika has started investing all her money in real estate properties and she even submitted a proposal to build an international school so IT officials got a tip that there is an irregularity in her IT returns.

Rashmika was in Hyderabad when the raids happened, said Mandanna’s manager Kiran. “She finished a late-night shoot, came home and slept. She is not aware of it,” said Kiran, adding, the raid would not yield any result as all the taxes have been paid off.

In her absence, Rashmika’s father was questioned about her investments. The officials further questioned him on the actress’s proposal to start an International school as well as a petrol pump at Bittangala, Karnataka.

Rashmika has acted in several Kannada as well as Telugu films. She made her debut in 2016 with Kirik Party and is a popular name in the South film industry today. Her latest film titled Sarileru Neekevvaru released on January 11 this year.

According to reports, IT officials were also looking at the political background of Rashmika’s father. The IT officials had entered the gate of the house pretending to be her fans. Instead of department vehicles, the officials had hired taxis to reach the house.
