Why closed door audio launch for Vijay’s ‘Master’

For the past few films of him, Vijay was hosting grand audio launch events in Chennai in which his fans from all over Tamil Nadu participated in large numbers.

However, for his upcoming flick ‘Master‘, there will be a closed door audio launch at a five-star hotel in Chennai on March 15 (Sunday). The event will see only the participation of select guests.

Sources say the decision has been taken because of two reasons- coronavirus and to prevent chaos among fans. Remember there was confusion and clash at the audio launch of ‘Bigil’ last year.

“In a bid to avoid this and as per the government’s advisory to avoid gathering of a large crowd in view of coronavirus, it was decided to have a closed door event,” sources say and add that the audio launch will be telecast live on a popular TV channel.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Master’ has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Already, the ‘Kutty Story’ song from the movie, which was sung by Vijay himself, has become a chartbuster. Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan play key roles in the movie.
