Vishnu Vishal’s Gatta Kusthi 2 officially announced
The sequel to the 2022 Tamil sports-drama hit, Gatta Kusthi, has been officially announced. Titled Gatta Kusthi 2, the film will see the return of the original cast and crew, promising another dose of action, humor, and family dynamics.
The news was confirmed through a fun promotional video released on social media, sparking excitement among fans.
The announcement was made by Vishnu Vishal, who not only stars as the lead but is also co-producing the film under his banner, VV Studioz, alongside Vels Film International.
The sequel will once again be helmed by director Chella Ayyavu.
Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi will reprise their celebrated roles as the lead couple, Veera and Keerthi.
The supporting cast, including fan favorites like Munishkanth, Karunas, and Kaali Venkat, are also set to return, ensuring the film’s signature comedic timing and strong ensemble chemistry remain intact.
While the first film focused on the unexpected marriage between a male chauvinist and a secret wrestler, the sequel is reported to delve into their lives after they have a child.
