The Tamil Film Producers Council has decided not to control/regulate the number of releases for the Christmas and Pongal weekend.
This decision has upset Vishnu Vishal, whose Silukkuvarpatti Singam is set to hit the screens during Christmas weekend. A member of Jayam Ravi’s Adanga Maru team too is irked.
Vishnu, whose Ratsasan became a hit, is gearing up for his next comedy drama Silukkuvarupatti Singam which he produced himself. Recently the actor in a series of tweets expressed his dissatisfaction towards the producers’ council.
He tweeted: “REGULATIONS..No Regulations..REGULATIONS..No Regulations..No Regulations..No Regulations..REGULATIONS..😏is this how justice is served to the people who try n follow rules?not frst this is the second time its happening to me n othrs..why rules thn? #systemfailure #politicswithin.”.
He also said: “btw this was just to make othrs understand wat i meant by open ..close …close..open statement 🙂 amyways #SilukkuvarpattiSingam is coming on #dec21release :)”
Vishnu Vishal added: “Aftr attending all d TFPC meetings in d last 1 month im pretty sure @VishalKOfficial isn responsible for this situation…like is said #politicswithin 🙂 RULES R ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW :)”
Shiyam Jack from Jayam Ravi’s Adanga Maru team posted: “So true from team #Adangamaru 😡😡😡
We also trusted and followed the rules bro #TFPC #RIPregulationcommitee 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
