Vishal reveals triple role in directorial debut ‘Magudam’

Vishal has shared new details about his upcoming directorial debut, Magudam, in which he also plays three distinct characters.

According to the actor, each role has a separate appearance, personality and mannerisms. One portrays a medical representative from a middle-class family, another is a gangster, while the third is an ardent admirer of composer Ilaiyaraaja.

Vishal said the film explores a socially relevant issue that many people are unaware of, drawing comparisons to the awareness generated by his earlier film Irumbu Thirai on digital privacy.

The film stars Anjali and Dushara Vijayan in leading roles, with supporting performances from John Vijay, Jayaprakash, Ajay, Vamsi Krishna, Abu Salim, Arjai, VJ Jhansi, Padam Kumar and Sabumon. Music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, while the release date is yet to be announced.
