‘Vishal, Anisha wedding not called off, to happen soon’

Though media reports claimed that Vishal’s wedding with Telugu actress Anisha Alla was called off due to difference of opinion, the actor’s father has said the wedding will happen soon.

Vishal’s father G K Reddy, who is also a film producer, said, “Vishal is keen on getting married in the new Nadigar Sangam building. But the construction work is still underway.”

He added: “Also, the Nadigar Sangam elections issue is still pending in the court. That’s one of the reasons why there is a delay in the wedding. The date of the wedding would be announced soon.”

Anisha and Vishal got engaged in March after a whirlwind of romance. They dated for a while and decided to tie the knot on October 9 in Chennai among family and friends. Invitations are yet to be out.

Recently, reports said Vishal and Anisha, who fell in love and got engaged with blessings of elders in both the families in March this year, broke up  and attempts for patch up failed.

Following this, their wedding slated to be held in October had been called off, reports claimed. Anisha has also deleted photos of and posts about Vishal from her social media profile.

Anisha Alla is an activist, a basketball player and an actress. In January, both Vishal and Anisha took to social media to announce that they will be getting married and that they will formally announce the date soon.

Anisha, who posted a picture of her with Vishal on Instagram, said, “To the start of something new. Thank you all for everything you’ve done; Been a part of my growth, my learning, my observations, my inspiration, my truth, my hurt, my strength, my reason or all that has brought me to where I am today, who I am today.

Soon enough, I will be on a new journey and I yearn to live up to all of my dreams and goals and the challenges I have put up for myself.

I finally found somebody to go down the path of life with, loving him and life with true passion. I look up to this man for all that he stands for and for all of his heart.

I vow to give back to him, the families and the people around with this step forward. I vow to be the best that I can be, intention towards collective learning, love and moral value.”
