Vimal & Suri violate orders, fined by Forest dept

Suri, who had been entertaining his fans and audience with interesting and funny videos from his home during the lockdown, seems to have gotten himself into trouble along with actor Vimal.

Looks like the popular onscreen do had apparently travelled to Kodaikanal, which has got them into trouble with the forest department. It is said that that they had violated rules by fishing at the Berijam lake in the hill station. A particular pic shows Vemal with a fish in hand just out of the lake has been doing the rounds on the internet.

Social activist Mahendran had submitted a complaint with DSP Athmanabhan seeking action. In his complaint, he stated that some people were fishing in the lake and were seen consuming liquor in the open.

The police informed the Forest department. On instructions from District Forest Officer Tejaswi, a team found that the four had obtained e-pass to travel from Chennai to Dindigul district. After investigation, Vemal and Suri were fined ₹2000 each.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi is likely to pen the dialogues for Vimal’s new film Kulasamy. Sethupathi had earlier penned dialogues for his production venture Orange Mittai, he also agreed to write lines in Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth’s upcoming film.

Besides writing the dialogues in Kulasamy, Vijay Sethupathi is also likely to play an important role in the Vimal starrer. Vimal is also all set to begin work on his next, which has been titled Chozhanaattaan. The film, directed by debutant Ranjith Kanna, will be an action thriller.
