Vikram has begun training for a film, which will be the remake of the much-talked about Hollywood film Don’t Breathe.
Sources say, “Vikram has started his specially prescribed diet two weeks ago. The plan is that the project might go on floors around December, if all goes well. The film will be adapted to Tamil sensibilities — it may have Ooty or Kodaikanal as the backdrop.”
Meanwhile, Vikram, who is basking in the success of his latest sci-fi thriller Iru Mugan, which opened to favourable reviews from the fans, has grossed Rs 100 crore at the box office thereby making the film a profitable investment to the producers.
Vikram will be next seen in Saamy 2, the sequel to the blockbuster Tamil film Saamy.
In Saamy 2, Vikram will return as the tough police officer, and Hari says that the project will be bigger in terms of scale than the prequel.
Meanwhile, Vikram has also heard two scripts from directors Socrates (of Bramman fame) and Arun Kumar, who made Vijay Sethupathi’s Sethupathi.
Out of the two, he’s most excited about Arun Kumar’s script; however, he’s not sure if he can commence work on the project right away or after he completes Saamy 2.
