Vikram’s Kadaram Kondan is likely to clash with Suriya’s Selvaraghavan directed NGK in the box-office, as both films are slated to hit the screens the same day.
It all started when a poster of Kadaram Kondan claimed that the film would hit the screens on May 31, the day which has been locked for NGK.
However, soon, makers of Kadaram Kondam posted: “KadaramKondan Post Production in progress…Release date yet to be decided !!! More updates soon #Vikram @RajeshMSelva @RKFI”.
But still, there is a talk in Kollywood that the two big films are likely to clash for honours on May 31. Kadaram Kondan is jointly produced by Trident Arts along with Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films.
Directed by Rajesh M Selva of Thoongaa Vanam fame, Ghibran is composing the music for the film. The first single from the film will be unveiled on May 1.
After being in the making for long, Suriya’s NGK is finally getting ready for release. The teaser of the movie directed by Selvaraghavan was released recently, along with Karthi’s Dev.
Suriya’s Kaappaan, directed by cinematographer-filmmaker K V Anand, is a multi-starrer with Malayalam top star Mohanlal, Arya and Sayyesha playing key roles. It will hit the screens on August 30.
