Vijay’s The GOAT re-censored: New scenes added, final runtime out
Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu’s The Greatest of All Time was censored yet again after the team added new scenes.
The film, helmed by directed by Venkat Prabhu, will release in theatres on September 5 in record-number of scenes.
The final runtime of The GOAT now stands at three hours and three minutes.
Earlier, the runtime of the movie was two hours and 59 minutes. It has now been extended after the addition of new scenes.
The film was issued a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Reports have it that blooper scenes might have been added, which is a regular in director Venkat Prabhu’s films.
Cuss words and the term ‘Desa Thandhai (Father of the Nation’ have been muted.
Going by the censor certificate, three seconds of footage have been removed while two seconds have been replaced.
