Vijayakanth speaks out, seeks support to AIADMK-DMDK alliance in video

DMDK president Vijayakanth, who remained silent due to health reasons in the past, has broken silence for the first time and sought support for the AIADMK-BJP-DMDK alliance.

In an interview-format video, the actor-politician is seen saying that the alliance would emerge victorious and the DMK alliance would be defeated.

He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should come back to power since he is a good man. The video has brought joy among the fans and supporters of the Captain.

Ending all speculations, Vijayakanth’s DMDK recently joined AIADMK-BJP alliance for the Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu. AIADMK and DMDK signed a pact. As per the agreement Vijaykanth’s party has got four seats in Tamil Nadu.

The pact was signed between the top leadership of the two parties in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami and his deputy O Panneerselvam and Vijayakanth and DMDK treasurer and his wife Premalatha.

An AIADMK delegation led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami on March 16 called on DMDK founder Vijayakanth at his residence.

According to a DMDK release, Palaniswami met Vijayakanth on a “courtesy call,” and enquired about his well-being.
