DMDK president Vijayakanth has offered prayers at the Parikkal Shri Lakshmi Narasimhar temple near Ulundurpet and took a vow that he would not bribe anybody to cast their vote in favour of this alliance.

When others were taking ethical voting pledge, an initiative by Election Commission, at workplaces and areas near their homes. Vijayakanth, the chief ministerial candidate of DMDK-PWF-TMC alliance, did it with a difference.

After offering prayers at Parikkal Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy temple near Ulunderpet (from where he is contesting in the Assembly elections), took the pledge there itself.

Vijayakanth was here to canvass votes for him for the May 16 assembly elections. The DMDK chief is contesting from Ulundurpet Assembly constituency, shifting from the neighbouring Rishivandiyam seat.
