Vijay is known for his longstanding friendship with his school and college buddies which he still maintains. His gang of friends includes actors Sanjeev and Srinath and they meet up often at each other’s houses and bond together.
The way he addresses his fans as ‘Nanba’ (buddy) is enough to make his fans go gaga. Now that the current pandemic situation is forcing people to stay indoors, it looks like ‘Thalapathy’ had a video chat with his friends on friendship day.
A screenshot from the video conferencing has been doing the rounds on social media and fans are more than happy to see the picture of their matinee idol having a hearty laugh with his friends.
Interestingly, the crew of Vijay’s upcoming film, Master, including the movie’s female lead Malavika Mohanan and composer Anirudh, too, along with Vijay, came together through video conferencing a while ago.
Malavika had posted, “Problems will come and go..konjam chill panu maapi! How we hang out when we can’t really hang out. Team ‘Master’ is social-distancing. Are you?”
Vijay will be next seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Master. The film has Anirudh Ravichander composing music. It is to me noted that the audio tracks of the film were launched in a formal event before the lockdown was imposed. The film has Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist.
Vijay is also likely to start shooting ‘Thalapathy 65’ directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures early next year.
