Director Bharathan is happy and confident with the way his upcoming film Bairavaa, which has Vijay in the lead, has taken shape.
He said Vijay recently watched the rushes of the movie and was very happy. “He said the film has come out very well and is immensely satisfied,” the director said.
The film is set 50% in Chennai and 50% in Tirunelveli. Except for few scenes, the team has completed major portions and for a duet number, they will be soon leaving to Switzerland.
Written and directed by Bharathan and produced by Vijaya Productions, the film stars are Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles, while Sathish and Jagapathi Babu amongst others play supporting roles.
The music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan, the cinematography is handled by M. Sukumar and the film is edited by Praveen KL.
After entering production in early 2016, the film progressed under the tentative title of Vijay 60, before being named as Bairavaa during September 2016.
It has been reported that actor Vijay is playing double roles in the film, both as the antagonist and protagonist.
