Vijay-Dhanush director makes shocking complaint on police

Director Ramana, who made Vijay starrer Thirumalai and Aadhi, and Dhanush starrer Sullan, has made a shocking complaint against two policemen.

In a post on Facebook, which has gone viral on social media, he said, Ramana said he has good friends in the police department and most of the policemen are nice and honest.

But I recently had a bitter encounter with two policemen, he said and identified as Sub Inspector (SI) Kumaran and Constable M Ramar.

“The policemen were pulling up traffic violators at Santhome near my residence. I was driving my four-wheeler with my wife and daughter and took a ‘U’ turn when my vehicle was stopped for traffic violation,” he said.

Narrating his side of the story, Ramana said, “It was SI Kumaran who asked Constable Ramar to levy a fine on me even as I repeatedly said I had not violated any rule.

However, Ramana said, things turned worse when Kumaran allegedly passed shocking comments at Ramana’s health condition.

“He asked me to stay away from him as he did not want to get cancer which he termed as a contagious disease,” Ramana said and added that the SI further asked Ramar not to bring those who are going to die to him.

“This hurt my feelings and I strongly condemn it” he said and added that there was a kind policemen at the spot who asked us to leave without paying the fine and we left.

“But I had left with my original driving license with the policemen which my daughter offered to go back and collect. My daughter who went to collect it was made to wait for a long time and Kumaran gave the license to her only after she paid the fine,” he said.
