Sarkar cast and crew, including director AR Murugadoss, AR Rahman, Vijay, Keerthi Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, & lyricist Vivek celebrated the success of the film in a private party in Chennai
Rahman released the cake-cutting photo with a hand which is seen lighting a candle on the cake and a quote reads: “Whose hand is this?” Many fans replied cheerfully that is “Thalapathy Vijay’s Hand” in the comment section. Yes, the cross-signed bracelet shows that the hand is indeed Vijay’s.
Also, another highlight of the cake is that it has a Sarkar poster in the centre and small size of freebie mixie, grinder, index finger miniatures indicates the importance of voting rights, on it made by sugar fondant.
Vijay’s Sarkar is steady at the box office despite protests by supporters of the ruling AIADMK party. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, has earned Rs 200 criteria within the first six days of release, as per its makers.
The movie made several records at the box office in India and is doing well in various countries across the world. This is the second Rs 200 crore grosser for Vijay after his hit 2017 film Mersal.
Party workers and leaders managed to pressurise the team to remove those scenes from the film.
Despite the controversies surrounding the film, it managed to rake in profits in the Indian and international market. On November 11, the entire Sarkar team including Vijay and AR Murugadoss got together to celebrate the film’s success.
