Possessing an inherent quality of being voracious admirer of literary works, filmmaker-writer-producer Vetrimaaran has always desired translating the best into celluloid. He has now cherry picked one of the most popular and stunningly realistic novel ‘Thariyudan’ authored by Bharathinathan. The novel is being adapted into movie titled as ‘Sanga Thalaivan’, which will be bankrolled by Vetrimaaran under the banner GRASSROOT FILM COMPANY. His long time associate Manimaran will be helming this project, which features Samuthirakani, Karunaas, Aram fame Sunulakshmi and Vijay TV fame Ramya in important roles. The shooting of this film will be commencing from January 22.
