Analysis:

Director Thu Pa Saravanan sticks to the basics of Tamil commercial cinema and stays true to the genre. The story has three different subplots which makes proceedings interesting. Vishal is tailor made for this role as a caring brother, socially conscious person and common man filled with anger. As usual he excels in the action sequence. Dimple Hayathi comes does not much impact on the story but has done her part well. Raveena as Vishal’s sister has got a meaty role and utilised it well. Maarimuthu shines with his seasoned acting. Rest of the cast have also done their part well. Kavin’s camerawork is top notch. Yuvan Shankar once again creates magic with his background score.
