Vasantha Mullai movie review

Story:

Bobby Simha is a someone who does not hold back when doing his work at an IT firm.

This leads to health complications following which his girlfriend suggest that they go on a break.

The couple travel to a hill station following which they stay at a motel called Vasantha Mullai.

What happens at this motel forms the main theme of the story.

Analysis:

Directed by Ramanan Purushottama, the movie has all the ingredients for a mystery thriller.

However, the execution is where the director seemed to have struggled.

The momentum which is maintained throughout the first half is let down in the second half. Bobby Simha delivers a neat performance which is needed for his character.

There is ample scope for performance and he has utilised it properly. Kashmira is good in her role. Arya’s cameo acts as a major boost to the movie.

Rajesh Murugesan’s music is the biggest plus point of the film. The neat camerawork and editing also working in favour of the film.

Rating: 3.4/5
