However, he takes over his father business due to circumstances. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director Vamshi has stayed true to the family sentiment template. What works in favour of the movie is the casting, fresh dialogues and the pace of the screenplay.

Vamshi has maintained the tempo of the film right from the beginning to the climax. The pre-interval block and the interval scene are the major highlights of the movie.

Vijay looks energetic and in is completely in his elements. He provides a feast for his fans with his body language, charisma and dance.

His comedy scenes with Yogi Babu have worked out really well.

Sarathkumar and Jayasudha as Vijay’s parents are perfectly cast in their roles. They bring the much needed impact for the film.

While the first half is engaging, the second half becomes predictable.  There are few scenes that could have been edited to have a much crispier running time.

Rashmika does not have much to do in the flick and appears mostly during the songs.

Thaman has set the screen on fire with his terrific background score.

Rating: 3.5/5
