Varalakshmi Sarathkumar to be part of Samantha’s Yashoda
Shooting for Samantha’s upcoming film with director duo Hari and Hareesh titled Yashoda commenced recently.
Now the latest update is that Varalakshmi Sarathkumar has also joined the team.
Samantha’s Yashoda was supposed to go on floors in November. However, the shooting was postponed to December. Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad will be bankrolling this venture under Sridevi Movies.
In a statement, the producer said, “After making unique films like Aditya 369 with Nandamuri Balakrishna garu, Gentleman with Nani and Sammohanam with Sudheer Babu, we’re producing another unique attempt, a woman-oriented story with Samantha as the lead. As the story excited her a lot, she immediately okayed it. We’re introducing the Hari-Harish direction duo with this movie.”
Samantha will be seen next in director Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam and Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
