Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is both happy and unhappy

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, who is playing a key role in Vijay’s upcoming flick Sarkar, has expressed happiness about the movie’s shoot getting over successfully.

She said in a tweet: “That’s a schedule wrap for the amazing #Sarkar thank you @ARMurugadoss sir and @sunpictures for this amazing opportunity…”

She added: “It was my dream to work with our #Thalapathy @actorvijay sir… can’t wait for for Diwaliii… paattasssaaa readyyyyyy pannungaaa..!! 🎉 🎉 woooohoooo.”

Meanwhile in an open letter, she slammed the paid reviews that caused the poor box-office performance of her recent flick Echcharikkai Idhu Manithargal Nadamaadum Idam.

“Paid reviews apparently is the new thing which I just got to known now. If you don’t, they will write a crappy review and of course, there are reviewers who work for certain artists only and choose to attack the actor instead of reviewing the film,” she said.

She concluded the lengthy post by saying: “With the amount of politics between a small distributor and big ones, it’s obvious who the better screens go to.”

The actress added: “So much games and the only people to lose here are the people behind a true and honest film called Echcharikkai.”
