Vadivelu joins the cast of Karthi’s Marshal

Actor Vadivelu has joined the cast of Karthi’s Marshal in a key role. The film, a pirate-themed period drama set in the 1960s, is being directed by Tamizh, known for his critically acclaimed debut Taanakkaran.

The announcement has created a considerable buzz among fans, as Marshal marks the first time Vadivelu and actor Karthi will be sharing screen space.

While details of Vadivelu’s character are being kept under wraps, sources suggest it will be a pivotal role, not a typical comedy track.

Marshal is an ambitious project produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, which also features Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead.

The film is currently under construction, with a massive set being built in Rameswaram to recreate the 1960s backdrop.

Vadivelu’s inclusion follows his recent impressive performances in films like Maamannan and Maareesan, showcasing his versatility beyond comedy.

The film’s technical crew includes Sai Abhyankkar for music, Sathyan Sooryan for cinematography, and Philomin Raj for editing.
