The coronavirus outbreak has turned the film industry upside down and our celebrities are helping the needy, staying in home and having quality time with family members and are spreading awareness.

Suriya, Karthi and their dad Sivakumar have donated Rs 10 lakhs to the FEFSI workers, who are suffering due to cancellation of shootings.

Sakthi Film Factory tweeted: “#SivaKumar Iyya,  @Suriya_offl Anna, @Karthi_Offl Sir  family has donated ₹10 Lakhs to #FEFSI workers who are facing industry shutdown due to #CoronavirusOutbreak #Covid19.”

FEFSI president RK Selvamani has issued a press release requesting the South Indian film fraternity to come forward and extend financial help to the daily wage members of FEFSI who work for cinema and are now starving with their families due to the spreading Coronavirus outbreak.
According to Selvamani, nearly 15,000 workers are unable to fulfill the basic needs of their family members. Now, Suriya, Karthi and their dad Sivakumar donated 10 lakhs to the FEFSI workers.

Selvamani requested affluent actors and producers to donate 1 crore rupees so that FEFSI can at least provide rice bags to their members.

Aditi Rao Hydari posted: “There is always a silver lining…The world is healing. We’re all closer despite the distance… In kindness, in care, in responsibility and most importantly in our love. We’re in this together, doing all we can to protect our one big family. #StaySafe #StayHome #JantaCurfew.”

Appreacting her, Vivekh posted: “What a nice way of expressing your love of humanity!!Nature listens to good hearts! All will be well soon! World will shine with health soon like a full moon, Aditi.”

Music composer Sam CS expressed displeasure over the gathering of poeple and wrote: “ஒரு நோயின் பயங்கரம் 😡 தனி மனித கட்டுப்பாடு 😡 பிறர் நலன் 😡 என எந்த பொருப்பும் இல்லாத கேவலமான சமூகத்தில் வாழ்வது வேதனை…!  😔😔😔”எல்லாத்தயும் இழுத்து மூடுங்க”

Shriya Saran, who posted a video in which she is seen dancing with her husband Andrei Koscheev, wrote: “Day 10 of sitting at home in Barcelona… I wanna hold your hand, once all this is over. Please stay at home. Protect yourself, protect elders… kids be good… dont behave like me! meanwhile… stay happy, spread love and good vibes only,”
