U.S. Showcases American Commercial Space Leadership at Bengaluru Space Expo

United States Ambassador Sergio Gor launched the U.S. Booth at Bengaluru Space Expo (BSX) on Monday, September 7, which brought together U.S. government and industry engagement to showcase American innovation and strengthen commercial connections between the United States and India.  U.S. participation in BSX underscored the importance of fair and reciprocal commercial opportunities and supported deeper collaboration across space technology, research, and innovation.

Ambassador Gor delivered the keynote address at the BSX inauguration, highlighting the strength of the U.S.-India space partnership and the important role of commercial cooperation in advancing shared economic and technological priorities.

He said, “Our partnership with India is no longer just about cooperation.  It is about co-creation.  We are no longer just sharing data.  We are co-designing instruments, co-funding startups, and co-authoring the future of human discovery.”

Several U.S. commercial space companies participated in BSX, showcasing their technologies and capabilities and engaging with Indian companies, startups, investors, and other stakeholders.  Their participation reflected the depth of American commercial space expertise and created opportunities to expand trade, investment, and business partnerships.  The following American companies were represented at the expo: Amazon Leo, BlackSky, IONQ (Capella Space), L3 Harris, Pellucere Technologies, Vantor Inc, VAST Space, Viasat, and Voyager Technologies.
