Trisha undergoes digital detox

South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan has taken a break from the social media despite the lockdown. She recently took to Twitter to announce the decision, which has shocked her fans.

“On a happy but ‘my mind needs oblivion at the moment’ note, a digital detox, Stay home! Stay safe! This too shall pass,” posted the popular actress.

The actress was waiting for the release of her 60 th film Paramapadham Vilayattu but her fans got disappointed as the film could not be released due to the coronavirus pandemic and ensuing lockdown.

The actress who is usually active on social media, interacting with fans through her posts and live sessions, abruptly bid adieu to the digital world.

For the unversed, the actress enjoys a massive fan following of 5.2M on Twitter and 2.4M on Instagram. Her last Instagram story had a blacked-out image captioned, ‘Rip humanity’.

Trisha Krishnan might have withdrawn herself from social media to keep things positive in lockdown days. A bunch of celebrities had went on a digital cut-off recently Samantha Akkineni and Priya Prakash Varrier are a few of them. They had stayed away from Instagram and Twitter for a few days

Trisha Krishnan, who has always been aloof from social media, recently, shot a short film from home for Gautham Vasudev Menon. The shot-at-home short film reunited Trisha Krishnan and Simbu after their last endeavour Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya (2010).
