Trisha gets angry

Trisha plays an angry young woman who is preying for the blood of her enemies in Raangi, the second look of which was released on Thursday.

While the first look featured her as a prisoner, the second look has an intense looking Trisha wielding a gun with injuries in her hands.

According to sources, the team of Raangi, led by director Saravanan (of Engeyum Eppodhum and Ivan Vera Madhiri fame) will soon leave for Uzbekistan to shoot some action scenes.

“Trisha will perform stunt sequences on her own without using body double. She recently underwent training in martial arts and riding Bullet bike,” sources say.

Meanwhile, Trisha and Simran have come together for an action adventure film, after sharing the screen space with superstar Rajinikanth in Petta.

The recent update was that the film has been named Sugar. Bankrolled by All In Pictures, the producers of Gorilla, the film is directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan of Sadhuram 2 fame.

The team has been shooting the film in Chennai, Kerala, Pichavaram, and Thailand. According to sources, Trisha and Simran will be seen as siblings who share a close bond.

The film has musical score by Santhosh Dhayanidhi, while Saravanan Ramasamy is cranking the camera.  Sathish, Jagapathi Babu and Abhinay will be seen in pivotal characters in this movie.
