Tractor, a Tamil movie without a background score, has been selected for the 14th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival.
The decision to forgo a traditional background score in “Tractor” and instead rely on sync sound and real ambience sound adds another layer of authenticity to the film. By capturing the artist’s dialogues on-site and incorporating natural ambient sounds, the filmmakers create a more immersive experience for the audience, allowing them to feel fully immersed in the world of the film.
The movie “Tractor” is more than mere cinematic entertainment to raise meaningful debates and naturally showcase the atrocities that corporate culture is doing in the lives of our farmers.
The film Tractor is produced by Jayanthan, his first venture in film production under the banner Friday Entertainment (France)

This crew mostly debuts, The Director of this movie Ramesh Yanthra is already known for his Documentary films Gudiyam Caves, and The Father of Indian Prehistory and he was a former student of the College of Fine Arts, Chennai. This is his first Feature film and he came from the Information technology Industry.
Co-Incidently this film’s male lead Prabakaran Jayaraman
and female lead Sweetha Pradhap also from the IT Industry and both are new faces on the screen. Another two-character role was done by Pillaiyarpatti Jayalakhsmi & Director Ramshiva.
This film cinematographer Gowtham Muthusami was the assistant of well-known Cinematographer Rajesh Yadav and Edited by Sudharson, the Sound Design was composed by Rajesh Saseendran and Production design was done by eminent Art Director T.Muthuraj.
