Veteran actor-filmmaker T Rajendhar has slammed Tamil Film Producers Council president and Nadigar Sangam general secretary Vishal over a string of issues.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai on Sunday, TR said Vishal had not stopped Tamilrockers from released the pirated versions of Tamil films online, though it was one of Vishal’s promises.
“Why Vishal had an association with Lyca Productions. Why none of the members stood up for the Tamizh Thaai Vaazthu during the annual general body meeting of Producers’ Council?”
On the recent Kollywood strike, TR asked why he had not reduced the amount of QUBE. “Why Vishal’s recent film released in more than 300 theatres when Vishal himself had made the rule that a film must not release in more than 200 theatres?”
It may be recalled that months ago, Vishal issued a notice condemning Rajendhar for continuously targeting Dhansika despite the fact that she apologised to him at a film function.
Vishal wrote on social media, “I strongly condemn Mr TR for continuously targeting Dhansika despite the fact that she apologised to him and he could have avoided all this.”
