TN Guv, CM and Oppn leader wish Droupadi Murmu
Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi, Chief Minister M K Stalin and the Leader of the Opposition AIADMK in the Assembly K Palaniswami on Thursday greeted the NDA candidate Droupadi Murmu, who was elected as the 15th President of India.
Extending his warmest greetings and best wishes to Droupadi Murmu on her being elected the President of India, the Governor tweeted, “she will lead the country to Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.”
In his message posted on his Twitter site, the Chief Minister said, “Hearty congratulations to Hon’ble Droupadi Murmu avl on being elected to the highest constitutional position of India.” “Emerging from the oppressed sections of the society, we strongly believe that you will stand by silenced voices to ensure a thriving constitutional democracy,” Stalin further said.
Greeting Murmu on behalf of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, people of Tamil Nadu and on his own behalf, Palaniswami said, “Mrs Draupadi Murmu, a representative of the Tribal community has been elected as the President of the Republic of India on behalf of the National Democratic Alliance.
