TN government updates HC about Vijay’s tax issue
Tamilnadu government informed Madras High Court that Vijay has paid the entry tax of Rs 40 lakh on his Rolls-Royce Ghost, which was imported from the UK.
On July 13, the Madras High Court had dismissed the writ petition filed by Vijay in 2012 for seeking tax exemption on his Rolls-Royce Ghost.
The Bigil actor was asked to pay a fine of Rs 1 lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund.
