TN cabinet to meet on 5 March
Tamilnadu Cabinet will meet on March 5 to discuss the ensuing budget. Chief Minister MK Stalin will chair the meeting to be held at the Secretariat at 5 pm.
The meeting would discuss the ensuing budget of the state, which is expected to be presented before the end of the month.
The Cabinet will most likely discuss the implementation of poll promises made during the 2021 Assembly polls. Waiver of cooperative jewel loan up to five sovereigns and Rs 1,000 monthly assistance to home makers, which gave ammunition to the Opposition in the recently concluded urban local body campaign, could likely be a part of the meeting agenda.
Fund allotment for urban local bodies would also be accorded priority.
