The Budget Session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly would commence on July 21.
In a statement, assembly secretary A M P Jamaludeen said Speaker P Dhanapal has convened the session at 11am in the Secretariat.
“The revised budget for the fiscal 2016-17 will be presented on the day,” Jamaludeen said.
After the presentation of the budget, the Business Advisory Committee would meet to decide on the duration of the session.
Following the budget, the House will see debate on demand for grants for various government departments.
During the session, which was likely to last for a month, the demand for grants for various departments would be taken up for discussion and various important announcements are expected to be made.
