TN Assembly to pass resolution against Hindi being made as medium as instruction

The Tamil Nadu assembly is set to pass a resolution against the Parliament Committee report on Official Language, given by Home Minister Amit Shah to President Draupadi Murumu, which recommended that Hindi be the medium of instruction in all central educational institutions.

The Tamil Nadu assembly is also scheduled to table resolutions regarding the report on former CM Jayalalithaa’s death and the Thoothukudi police firing.

Earlier in October, TN chief minister MK Stalin accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of enforcing One Nation, One Language, One religion, One food and One culture and stated that this policy would damage the Indian Union.
