Thiruther Festival at Tiruneermalai Ranganathar Temple
Lord Sri Neervannar , Thiruther Festival at Lord Sri Ranganathar Temple, Tiruneermalai, Chennai took place on 26th March 2022 Saturday morning. Around 6 am auspicious time the processional deity Lord Sri Neervannar has come to the decorated Thiruther. At 8.30 am Thiruther took the procession and reached back by 11.15 PM. Till 3 PM all the devotees had the Darshan inside the Thiruther.
Thousands of devotees gathered to pull the Thiruther and to get the blessings of Lord Sri Neervannar.
Alangaram to the Lord Sri Neervannar was done by Sri Periya Balaji Bhattar, Sri Chinna Balaji Bhattar, Sri Prasana Bhattar, Sri Ravi Bhattar, Sri Raghavan Bhattar and other Bhattars.
A number of devotees provided buttermilk, juices, drinking water, and free food to the public who have participated in the Thiruther Festival.
Tamil Nadu Police Department has taken enough care for the safety of the public and smooth traffic during the Divine procession from the beginning to the end.
Arrangements for the same is being made by Smt P K Kavenitha , Asst Commissioner / Thakkar, Mr P Sakthi , Executive Officer and Temple Staff’s.
