Thalapathy 69 is now Jana Nayagan
Thalapathy 69 which is touted to be the final project of Vijay before he enters full-time politics, has been titled Jana Nayagan.
The first look poster of the film was released which shows Vijay clicking a selfie while his followers are standing, clad in white.
Apart from Vijay, the film also features Pooja Hegde as the female lead, reuniting with the actor for the second time after the 2022 action-drama Beast. Actors Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Gautham Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, and others are also part of the film.
There are strong speculations that Vijay’s film is the remake of Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari which starred Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role. However, the makers have not confirmed if the rumor is true or not.
Jana Nayagan has music by Anirudh Ravichander and Sathyan Sooryan ISC cranking the camera. Anl Arasu is the action coordinator. The film is slated for October 2025 release.
