‘Thalapathy-64’ to start from Oct, Vijay’s ‘golden’ gesture

Vijay has completed the shoot of his magnum opus sports action entertainer Bigil and has started dubbing for the movie which is all set to hit the screens on Deepavali.

Sources say that he will take a break for a month, and after that, the shoot of his upcoming film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 64 is all set to begin in the first week of October.

The movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan. Kiara Advani is said to be the heroine.

Meanwhile, Vijay has gifted 400 gold rings to the entire cast and crew of his upcoming magnum opus Bigil. The actor patiently waited and handed over the Bigil ring in-person to each and everyone associated with the team.

The update about Vijay’s gesture started doing the rounds after his teammates thanked the actor on social media and also shared photos of the ring they received with ‘Bigil’ inscribed on them.

Producer Archana Kalpathi tweeted: “Bigil has a team of 400 members working in the film every day. Our Thalapathy made it extra special by valuing each and every individual’s contribution today. This token of affection coming from him made everyone’s day #PositiveVibes #HeartOfGold #OurThalapathyIsTheBest.”

She also said: “We are finally at that stage where we can plan and announce updates Dubbing has started post production is in full swing and shooting is 95% complete Apologies for the lack of updates but we are trying to exceed you expectations and that needs time #BigilTeam.”

Bigil marks Vijay’s yet another collaboration with director Atlee. The cast also includes actress Nayanthara and Jackie Shroff, who plays the antagonist.
