“Ten Hours” Movie Review

A Familiar Highway Thriller with Moments That Shine

10 Hours is a highway thriller that treads familiar ground, but still manages to deliver an engaging ride for fans of the genre. Set over the course of a single night, the film follows Inspector Castro, played convincingly by Sibiraj, as he races against time to solve a series of crimes—including a missing girl, highway shootings, and a murder—all within just 10 hours.

Sibiraj brings a grounded presence to the lead role, adding intensity and sincerity to his character’s urgency. His performance keeps the audience invested, even as the narrative moves through expected turns. While the story follows a tried-and-tested formula, it still offers enough intrigue to keep viewers curious about what’s around the next bend.

Technically, the film has its strengths. Jai Karthik’s cinematography adds a gritty charm to the nighttime visuals, capturing the mood of the highway effectively. The limited runtime works in its favor, keeping the pace tight and the tension intact. Despite occasional reliance on flashbacks and exposition, the film never fully loses momentum.

Though the villain’s reveal may not come as a surprise, the film still builds to its climax with adequate suspense. It doesn’t aim to revolutionize the genre,—10 Hours embraces its familiar setup and delivers a straightforward, fast-paced thriller that offers a decent amount of thrills.

For those who enjoy crime dramas with a ticking clock, 10 Hours provides a watchable experience anchored by a solid lead and atmospheric visuals.
