Uttarkhand BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Tarun Vijay, who visited Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at the Apollo hospital on Sunday, said she was recovering fast and
would start her office work soon.
After enquiring about the health of Jayalalithaa from the doctors at Apollo Hospital, Tarun Vijay gave a special Prasadam from Kedarnath and holy water from Lake Manasarovar for the chief minister to deputy speaker of Lok Sabha Thambi Durai, who is camping at the hospital.
“I have specially brought holy water of the Lake Manasarovar from near the Mount Kailash for the chief minister. I met deputy speaker Thambidurai. I’m told by the doctors that the chief minister is now fully recovering. They said Amma is recovering very fast,” he said.
Vijay said that the “prayers of millions of people are working and she will be very well.”
After spending about 40-minutes in the hospital, he said that he would invite Jayalalithaa for a “thanks pooja” at Kedarnath next year. Tarun Vijay said Uttarakhand people conducted special prayers at various temples for Jayalalithaa’s speedy recovery.
“We hope she would be in her best health soon and we would like to invite her to Uttarakhand for a thanks Puja at Kedarnath next year”, Tarun said.
