Tamilnadu BJP’s unorganised handloom weavers association members meet Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

Members of the Tamilnadu BJP’s unorganised handloom weavers association met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Chennai today.

During the meeting the members requested the Minister to reconsider the increase of GST of handloom products.

At present 12% GST is being levied and the association members have requested it to be brought down to 5 per cent.

The association’s coordinator D Ganesh said that the Minister has assured to consider the request of the association members.
