Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam holds district secretaries meet

The district secretaries’ meeting of Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) concluded today at the party headquarters in Panaiyur, marking a key organisational step as the party intensified its preparations for the upcoming elections.
The meeting was led by party general secretary Bussy Anand, along with senior administrative coordinator K. A. Sengottaiyan. State-level leaders and district secretaries from across Tamil Nadu participated in the session, which focused on strengthening grassroots mobilisation.
According to party sources, TVK had already formed around 69,000 booth committees across 234 assembly constituencies. These committees were assigned to carry forward voter outreach and door-to-door engagement.
During the meeting, leaders discussed the party’s election strategy, including the next phase of public outreach, campaign scheduling, and constituency-level mobilisation. Plans for Vijay’s upcoming district visits and engagements were also reviewed.
The meeting came at a time when TVK was gradually resuming full-fledged political work after maintaining a low profile due to the tragic Karur stampede incident. The party had recently restarted small-scale gatherings before moving into a more organised campaign mode.
