Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams begin
The Class 12 board exams commenced in Tamil Nadu on Monday, with 8.21 lakh students appearing for the Tamil and other language papers. The exams started at 10 AM, with students given 10 minutes to read the question paper, followed by five minutes for verification before writing until 1 PM.
A total of 3,316 exam centers have been set up across the state, with 45,000 teachers overseeing the process. To ensure a fair examination, 4,800 flying squads have been deployed to prevent malpractice. The English paper is scheduled for March 6.
Meanwhile, Class 11 board exams will begin on March 5, with 8.23 lakh students set to appear.
In his message, CM Stalin assured students that the Tamil Nadu government stands by them. “Your hard work and efforts will yield good results. I have complete confidence in you. Face the exams with determination,” he encouraged.
He also advised students to take care of their health, emphasizing the importance of proper sleep, balanced nutrition, and mental well-being during this crucial period.
In a message shared on his social media page, Vijay conveyed his heartfelt wishes to students of both Class 11 and 12.
“I extend my sincere wishes to all my dear brothers and sisters appearing for the board exams in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Face the exams with courage and self-confidence. I wish you success in your exams and hope you achieve great heights in life,” Vijay stated.
