Soon, mobile phones start disappearing from the hands of people as they are snatched away by some extraordinary force.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, three prominent persons- a tower company owner, a mobile store boss and telecom minister- are killed in mysterious and brutal ways. The government brings in the military to control the situation, but nothing can stop the force from taking away mobiles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following this, union home minister asks Dr Vaseegaran (Rajinikanth) to reactivate Chitti (Rajini again), a robot which was dismantled eight years ago (recall Enthiran). This is being done despite opposition from another scientist, who is the son of Dr. Bora (the villain of Enthiran).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team of Vaseegaran, Chitti and robot Nila (Amy Jackson) finds out that all the bad things are the handiwork of Patchiraja (Akshay Kumar), an ornithologist who commited suicide in the first scene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With Patchiraja and birds taking revenge on mankind for &#8216;eliminating birds with mobile radiation&#8217;, the onus is now on Vaseegaran and Chitti to set things right. How they do it is the rest of 2.0.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ANALYSIS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team of superstar Rajinikanth, director Shankar and music maestro A R Rahman, is back with a bang in 2.0, which is a visual extravaganza from the very first scene. And this is maintained till the end credits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Not even a single minute has been wasted by Shankar and the story starts from the first minute, if not second. The director has packed the movie with enough elements to woo all sections of the audience, especially Rajini fans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And the superstar, at this age, gives tough competition to even youngest of actors with his sheer energy and screen presence. His style and mannerisms are back in full form in this flick and he also reiterates in a mass scene that he is the numero uno star of the industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amy Jackson springs surprise with an interesting and impressive performance, while the show stealer after Rajinikanth is, no prizes for guessing, Akshay Kumar. He has a meaty role and has delivered goods in each and every scene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The film produced by Lyca is a technical wonder with every department putting its best efforts. Be it Nirav Shah&#8217;s cinematography or Rahman&#8217;s music or the graphics team (the backbone of the movie), everyone has given nothing but their best.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the flipside, there are some logical loopholes, but you can easily overlook them since this is a sci-fi fantasy thriller.
