As Theeran intensifies his research, he is in for a rude shock, as he finds that a notorious gang from north India is on a violent spree across the country.<\/p>\n
Theeran, along with his team members, is now on a mission to put an end to the atrocities of the deadly criminal tribes. And he has to pay a heavy price too, as his operation earns him the wrath of the gang which targets his family.<\/p>\n
ANALYSIS<\/p>\n
Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, the second film of director Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai fame, throws light on the meticulously planned operation of the Tamil Nadu police that led to the gunning down of two members of the deadly Bawaria gang and arrest of others more than a decade ago.<\/p>\n
The research of the director into the crime saga, which is visible in every single scene, elevates the movie into a spine-chilling experience. Vinoth has carefully scripted the film that tells us the story of a honest police officer who stands against a menacing dacoit gang.<\/p>\n
Karthi deserves a big applause as he is right there delivering goods. From a mischievious lover to a cop on a mission, his performance is sure one of the highlights of the movie. Rakul Preet Singh is there in a cute, short and touching role.<\/p>\n
Bose Venkat, as the trusted lieutinant of ‘Theeran’, delivers a matured performance, while Abhimanyu Singh plays the ruthless villain. Sathyan, Manobala and others are also there.<\/p>\n
Ghibran’s musical score could have been better, while Sathyan Sooryan\u2019s camera work and Shivanandeeswaran\u2019s cuts are immense strengths to Theeran Adhigaram Ondru.<\/p>\n
On the flip side, gory scenes could have been avoided. Also in the second half, the narration literally wanders at places. But for these, Theeran Adhigaram Ondru is a good show and it is a tribute to the police department of Tamil Nadu.<\/p>\n
