ANALYSIS:
Vishwaroopam 2 is both a prequel and sequel to Vishwaroopam. A spy thriller, it takes us through a complex and non-linear route, narrating the story of Wisam and what happened before and after the first part.
Kamal Haasan is stunning and enough has been written about his acting skills. He wows us as director and writer too in this flick and he doesn’t appear like a man in his 60s.
Andrea Jeremiah and Pooja Kumar, the two leading ladies, impress us in their own ways, while scenes featuring Shekhar Kapur and Anant Mahadevan don’t really make the cut.
Enough importance has been given to stunt sequences and we feel like watching a Hollywood film made on a high budget. But there are several flashbacks that confuse us and dialogues too are heavy in this visual medium.
Music by Ghibran, cinematography and stunt scenes are highlights of Vishwaroopam 2. Despite being loud and keeping the audience guessing, this flick is loaded with good amount of action, comedy, romance, drama and patriotism.
