Uchchakattam Movie Review
On a high
STORY:
A young pair (Anup Singh and Sai Dhanshika) go to a party to celebrate New Year. There, Anup misses his mobile and starts searching for it.
In the meantime, Dhanshika shoots the New Year party and also captures on the lens a murder which happens there. Those who committed the crime come to know about it.
The baddies give many troubles to the couple. How they escape from it and what is the reason behind the murder is what Uchchakattam all about.
ANALYSIS:
Sunil Kumar Desai has made Uchchakattam in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, and the film, besides having Anup Singh and Sai Dhanshika in key roles, also says Tanya Hope, Harshika Poonacha, Kishore, Duhan Singh and others in important characters.
Dhanshika rocks as usual and Anup is also a good find for his role. Tanya, Kishore and Duhan have come out with right emotions.
Sanjay Chowdary’s music adds suspense to the screenplay, while cinematography by K M Vishnuvardhan and Rajan is good. Kemparaju’s editing is adequate.
There are many stunt scenes in the movie and Desai has presented it as a thriller. Though there are logical errors, the film can be watched for its script and performance by lead actors.
