Miga Miga Avasaram: Top priority
STORY:
Samandhi (Sri Priyanka) is a police constable. Her superior (Muthuraman) is a wicked man. He has a grudge on her and is waiting for an opportunity to settle score.
A Sri Lankan leader visits Sri Rangam temple to attend a festival and Samandhi is part of security duty. She is made to stand on the top of a bridge to maintain vigil.
Samandhi stands there braving the elements. At one point of time, she feels the need to relieve herself. But her boss doesn’t allow her to attend the nature’s call.
The rest is all about the troubles faced by Samandhi and whether she is able to address the ‘urgent’ need of her body.
ANALYSIS:
Miga Miga Avasaram, the maiden directorial venture of producer Suresh Kamatchi, has highlighted the woes of police personnel who attend VVIP bandobust duty.
Script by Jagannath is strong and it has been executed well on screen by Suresh Kamatchi. Sri Priyanka, the heart and soul of the movie, has performed well and her emotions are the major highlight.
Muthuraman and E Ramadoss have done their respective jobs in a justifying way, while a cameo by Seeman would impress his supporters. Ishan Dev’s music and Balabharani’s camera go hand-in-hand.
On the down side, we can’t avoid a documentary feel, as certain scenes could have been executed well. But, given the noble intention of the film, Miga Miga Avasaram can be allowed to pass the muster.
