Marainthirunthu Parkum Marmam Enna Tamil Movie Review

Marainthirunthu Paarkum Marmam Enna Tamil Movie Photos 3STORY:

Ayyappan aka Japan (Dhruvva) snatches jewellery from Jeeva (Ramachandran Durairaj). Incidentally, Jeeva happens to be part of a gang which is involved in chain snatching crimes in the city.

Japan soon joins the gang and involves himself in robberies. One day, he attempts to snatch away the chain of Bharathi (Aishwarya Dutta), who happens to be wife of the Commissioner of police.

With luck going against Japan, Bharathi sees his face during his failed attempt to rob her chain. Now the police department forms a special team to nab Japan and other members of the gang.

Also, the Commissioner appoints a tough officer Dilip Chakravarthy (JD Chakravarthi) to arrest the culprits. What follows is a cat and mouse game with twists, turns and a flashback.

ANALYSIS:

Directed by Rahesh, Marainthirunthu Parkum Marmam Enna is a gripping tale that presents us a well-researched story on chain snatchers. But some parts of the film remind us of Metro, a 2016 movie on the same theme.

Dhruva fits well to his role and makes us root for him. Saranya Ponvannan as his mother touches our heart with her performance, while JD Chakravarthy is menacing as tough cop.

Aishwarya Dutta is beautiful and adds value to the film. The first 20 minutes of the movie elaborates in detail about the chain snatching racket. Kudos to the director for researching about the subject well.

However, the film promised a lot before its release and delivers only half of it. But still, Marainthirunthu Parkum Marmam Enna can be enjoyed if you are a lover of police-thief stories.
