STORY:

Aravind (Jiiva) is a happy-go-lucky guy and gets married to Divya (Kajal Agarwal). But they are opposite poles, don’t get along well and part ways soon.

Following this, Divya asks divorce from Aravind, as she wants to settle down with Arjun (Bobby Simha). However, Aarvind asks her to stay with him for a week before she moves on.

The rest is all about his attempts to get back with his estranged wife.
Do the two of them unite and what happens to Deepa (Sunaina), who loves Aravind, forms the rest of the story.

ANALYSIS:

Director Deekay, who impressed us a lot in Yaamirukka Bayamey, does it only partly in Kavalai Vendam. Despite the teasers and trailer promising a lot about the movie, the end-product does it very limited.

Jiiva is in his best form, and adds value to the film with his performance. RJ Balaji is good, while Kajal Agarwal looks beautiful Bobby Simha has been wasted, to say the least.

A few of the sentimental scenes do not connect with the audience, thus making the second half slightly disappointing. However, the double-entendre comedy clicks, as intended.

Technically, music is average, while cinematography is cool. Overall, the film has several fun moments, but could have been made better.
